LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)

Initiates, directs, implements, and evaluates population-based interventions. Educates patients, families, and healthcare professionals in understanding impact of psychosocial factors on illness and disability. Identifies and provides interventions and/or recommendations to resolve or better manage complex personal, financial, environmental difficulties. Provides consultation and recommendations to health care professionals regarding impact of psychosocial factors on patients's illness. Provides quality clinical social work services considering age specific, developmental, and cultural needs. Demonstrates population specific/area-designated competencies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school. Three to Five years experience in acute care or Outpatient Oncology setting preferred. Related experience in Oncology, Medical Oncology, Critical Care or other will be considered. Current State of Michigan LMSW.
Successful candidate will be subject to mandatory vaccinations/immunizations unless they qualify for an available exemption.
