Provides individual, family and group counseling to patients and their families. Completes psychosocial assessments and
participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, community linkage and is primarily responsible for discharge planning with
timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities and/or advocacy.
Licensed social worker, masters prepared to provide psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, including discharge planning on a busy Child and Adolescent acute mental health unit. This position provides group, individual and family therapy, participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team and other duties as appropriate. Routine weekend shift coverage is required.
Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work required. Two years prior social work experience preferred. Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
