Introduction: Atlatl trade; Software is in the process of developing and marketing several Sales Resource Planning (SRP trade;) applications. “DART trade; ” includes two (2) modules: the Product Configuration Module and the Quote Management Module. “SPEAR trade; ” is a customer relationship management-like application. It utilizes what we call a “Customer Engagement Engine ” to help salespeople become more effective and successful.

Position Description: Atlatl Software, HQ ’d in Charleston, SC., is looking for a very special Software Architect to join our tightly-knit team. We are looking for a Software Architect who will be a bold leader and champion for building out our complex and dynamic platform. This Software Architect will report to the COO. This Software Architect will leverage their knowledge and experience in developing " deploying robust mobile-to-web/cloud applications and take charge of implementing Architecture roadmaps and software development best practices at Atlatl.

This Software Architect will naturally be ---in their DNA--- a key influencer, able to communicate and collaborate at all levels within an organization and will bring those skills " passions to Atlatl to drive the evolution and build-out of our platform. Specific Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) Provides technical leadership, guidance, and support in the development and deployment of complex mobile and hosted web applications. Assists in the definition of product requirements and responsible for the creation of high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and services. Leads the definition and documentation of development best practices, processes, and methodologies.

Develops and maintain global technology roadmaps and application evolution plans. Facilitates the governance and use of enterprise architecture principles, guidance and reference architectures. Essential " Desired Qualities: A passionate leader with deep and broad knowledge of all things software development. Must excel at both working independently as well an in a group setting.

Must be able to maintain up-to-date knowledge on a wide variety of technologies and methodologies. Must be an excellent communicator, able to explain current and future state software architecture in layman°s terms to both clients and colleagues at all levels of an organization. Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Knowledgeable and experienced with Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies. Experienced with Business Process Modeling and Enterprise Information Management. Expert level knowledge of Data and Information Architecture. Demonstrated experience with IT strategic planning.

Strong knowledge of and experience with ERP / MRP systems. Experience developing or leading the development of mobile applications. Experience in automated testing and continuous integration environments. Advanced domain knowledge on social media systems and integration.

Experienced with utilizing public / private cloud infrastructure. Experience working with remote and geographically separated teams. Other Qualifications: BA/BS and 8+ years Software Architect / Sr. Developer experience OR 15+ years progressive IT experience including 8+ years as a Software Architect / Sr.

Developer Proven experience leading complex projects throughout the project lifecycle
