This position is responsible for designing, analyzing, developing and testing new custom applications and significant enhancements to existing software and applications. Supports existing systems and interacts with the business to provide analysis and design of business processes needing automation. Interacts with the IT Technical Operations group to assess infrastructure impact and computing requirements.
Required Skills
Three to five years’ experience with SAP ABAP and Java, Java Script, .NET, HTML, C# (Sharp). Five years experience with Oracle/SQL Server Database administration. Must possess a strong understanding of systems data management, database structures and data flow. Thorough understanding of the system development lifecycle and processes. Ability to write clear technical system documents. Expertise with Microsoft Applications.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with five plus years of experience developing applications in Object Oriented languages and in developing single and multi-user systems. Five years of experience in a cGMP company in the health sciences field preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead projects, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
