We currently have an opening for a Software Developer II in our Manufacturing Test Engineering department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: providing support for test software and firmware in manufacturing, maintaining and improving existing software, providing support for new product development including defining automated test strategies, and supporting continuous improvement to implement Maxim I and Maxim II solutions for manufacturing operations.
Educational Requirements: B.S. Computer Engineering or B.S. Computer Science.
Experience Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with 2+ years of C# .NET programming experience (development using Visual Studio 2010 is preferred). We also desire experience with LabView / Teststand development, database architecture and SQL, as well as experience with embedded programming and electronic circuits.
The Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. This individual will support PC software development and embedded firmware development for automated testing of new and existing products.
Candidate must have good verbal and written reporting skills that enable effective communication of activities. This position is a key role in the development of test strategy for new products.
