Senior Developer skilled Visual Basics 6.0/.Net Developer responsible for building and maintaining internal and external modules.
•Will work on complex applications using one or more of the following: Visual Basic 6.0, VB.Net, C#, WCF, SQL under UNIX and Windows, 3-tier Architecture, Informix and SQL Server 2008/2012, ASP, .Net 2.0/4.0, COM/COM+.
•Assist with product design, systems analysis and programming activities, which may require some research.
•Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
•Assist with product design activities that may require some research and analysis.
•Perform design, implementation and maintenance of relatively simpler to complex modules. Subsystems.
•Participate in product design meetings.
•Document design in functional specification document.
•Develop and document unit test plan.
•Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
•Research problem / issues discovered by QA, Tech Support, Help Desk, End-Users and develop solutions to the problem / issues.
•Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and performance.
•Able to architect simple projects: Design and implementation in order to meet project objectives.
•Learn new technology and develop tools to remain abreast of current technology.

•Expert in best practices, processes, and tools required to develop enterprise-level .NET-based applications

•Proficiency in Database concepts, experience with SQL Server 2008/2012
•Hands-on experience with Microsoft Technologies (WCF, MSMQ, nHibernate and MVC)
•Hands-on experience implementing Web Services (SOAP and RESTful)
•Strong understanding of QA and Release Management process
•Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies
•Excellent SQL skills
•Experience with Informix and related tools
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a global team environment
•Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills
•Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget

Education and Experience:
•7+ years in developing distributed and modular computing solutions
•1-2 years as a technical leader
•Proficiency in .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 framework
•Strong Knowledge of C#, VB.Net knowledge helpful
•BS/BA 4year degree in business, software engineering/computer science or equivalent job related experience.
•Master’s degree preferred
