Duties of Position:
This position will be responsible for the development of communications software as part of the Asterisk development team. This entails working on the Asterisk project with the Asterisk open source community, as well as on commercial applications built on top of Asterisk. Applicants should have a thorough understanding of software architecture, software test practices, and software engineering processes.
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong background in C/C++ programming languages
- Experience developing Linux applications
- Good communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with VoIP and Asterisk
- Understanding of Agile software development processes (Scrum in particular)
- Familiarity with other programming languages
