Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.


This position is responsible for application and web development company-wide.

Develops data driven applications with Microsoft’s.NET platform to support business functions company- wide.

Assists with the design of the overall information system architecture.

Collaborates with non-technical colleagues in developing new applications.

Develops computer code and programming improvements for existing applications.

Tests and implements newly created code and fixes to internal applications.

Analyzes, reviews, and alters existing applications to enhance or adapt to new requirements.

Creates program development, logic, coding, and corrections documentation manuals and processes.

Keeps up-to-date on current technologies.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

An Associate's Degree in Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent; and one year of ASP.NET experience; or

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related majors; or

Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.


Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Must have a good working knowledge of web-based applications and basic relational database principles.

Experience in ASP.NET preferred.


Eligible Electric University learning opportunities for each classification are identified as Essential or Elective. Should new essential courses be added to a classification, employees within the classification are notified and will have 12 months to complete the course(s).

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other peripherals. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment.
