The Development Manager will manage a staff of development and QA members to develop a different kind of software in a dynamic, high-velocity environment. Among other responsibilities, the Development Manager will have the opportunity to work on application development, architectural design and management.

Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities for this position include the following:
· Build and lead technical satellite team of approximately 10
· Manage multiple streams of work to on-time and on-budget fulfillment of Enterprise solutions
· Apply product vision to clearly define appropriate technical specifications, costs and time requirements and oversee execution of project
· Work closely with solution architects and other team members to validate, design and approve efficient technical solutions that meet business needs
· Actively participate in the deployment of ongoing process and software development practice enhancements
· Efficiently allocate resources and ensure teams have the appropriate direction at all times
· Identify, communicate and resolve any roadblocks related to development activities
· Manage department level staffing, including onboarding, continuous training and coaching of staff
· Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to deliver on aggressive goals with timely delivery and good quality
Qualifications Requirements :

Key qualification requirements for this position include the following:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred
· Five years’ experience in professional software development. Enterprise software development experience preferred
· Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages preferred; Java strongly preferred
· Experience working with Ux Designers/Design
· Experience working with .NET technologies and SaaS based solutions a plus
· Experience with both Agile and traditional software development methodologies and the project management associated
· Understands Software Quality Best Practices such as Continuous Integration, Test Automation Frameworks, and System Testing
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, team building and cross group collaboration skills
· Ability to shape the structure and grow the skills of assigned team
