Background: The USAFE A6 provides the command reliable and responsive communications and knowledge-based operations capabilities across the full spectrum of operations through strategic-level direction for USAFE forces; ensuring integrated, responsive, and reliable command and control, intelligence, postal, and deployable communications support. Job Summary: Candidates will provide infrastructure administration, system/computer administration and configuration management, information management and sharing, integration activities, software programming, webpage development and maintenance. Work is performed as required to implement, upgrade and maintain USAFE network systems. A6 has established processes, procedures, standards, and policies for work execution.

The contractor shall adhere to these requirements as identified herein and may provide input for revision of existing ones or definition/selection of new processes, procedures, and standards. Job Summary: Provides design, configuration, implementation and activation support for USAFE A&AS related software programs. Conducts software analysis, including design and testing. Implements software changes and installs upgrades.

Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves technical problems and system anomalies. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: • Identify software problems • Provide technical consultation and coordinates projects regarding system design and implementation • Develops tests and implements computer programs and subsystems • Provides hardware/software support and communications design • Resolves problems between interfacing systems • Performs database/software application enhancements such as the process of analysis, design, implementation (coding) and test of a new requirement into customer portals and Internet, Electronic Personnel System (ePS), Master Events Management System (MEMS) and Web MEMS • Investigates, diagnoses, and corrects errors in the software undiscovered during the testing phase of software development • Software/database design, software development, and software and/or database testing Job Duties: See above. Skills and Qualifications: Must have familiarity with a majority of the following disciplines: MS BackOffice programming (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Exchange, and SQL Database Server); MS SQL; MS Access database management; HTML programming; Java Script programming. Desired, but not required skills, are Web design concepts, Visual Basic, MS Internet Information Server programming, Cold Fusion Programming, Oracle, Fusebox 3.0 (a standard framework and methodology for building web-based applications), and C and C++ Programming.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information management or related discipline plus 3-years specialized experience; or Associates Degree in computer science, engineering, information management or related discipline plus 7-years specialized experience, or Major IT Certification plus 7-years specialized experience, or 11 years specialized experience. Must have demonstrated practical experience in the area(s) of expertise required in the Task Order, Performance Work Statement. Level II = Level I with 3 additional years experience Level III = Level I with 5 additional years experience Education and Certifications: See above degree requirements. Candidates require Microsoft – SharePoint Professional certification; either a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) - Server Administrator or MCITP - Enterprise Administrator; as well as MCITP: Database Administrator certification with at least 3 years Structured Query Language (SQL) experience.

An added benefit would be to have Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007: Application Development [OR] MCPD: Micrososft SharePoint 2010.
