Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code is used in applications that variously support Synarcs radiologists, clinical data managers, operations staff, clients and partners. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Design, develop, unit test and release software to support Synarcs business.
Provide technical mentoring and training to other members of the software engineering team.
Work with end users to understand requirements and troubleshoot system defects.
Write and contribute to design specifications, installation guides and other technical documentation in accordance with Synarc best practices.
Work with other technical staff to support system installations, upgrades, and configurations of software.
Assist in training of users and creation of user manuals.
Ensure that systems are released in accordance with regulatory and Synarc standards.
Work with end users, other developers, software QA, product managers and software project managers to deliver applications, bug fixes and enhancements.
Use professional experience to provide creative, effective solutions to complex problems.
Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree
Experience: 8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with all phases of the development life cycle.
5+ years of Java, or equivalent object oriented language, professional development.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Skills: Good problem solving, technical troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal and team skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
