The frog engineering team is looking for new members of our technical staff to lead building mobile applications that deliver a delightful user experience on a broad range of mobile devices using iOS, Android, Windows Mobile 7, and WebKit based platforms.

The Responsibilities:


Work closely with the creative and client team to perform technology feasibility of the intended experience.



Perform gap analysis on the client’s current implementation stack, identifying challenges and opportunities.



Participate in project scoping and estimation tasks.



Work with the creative team to understand and translate the interaction design in to requirements.



Identify non-functional requirements upfront including but not limited to KPIs (key performance indicator)



Build the application architecture using established concepts such as object-oriented design.



Write code using established coding guidelines and best practices.



Ability to write & run automated unit tests to find issues early, thereby helping maintain high code quality.



Ability to triage new issues, perform root-cause analysis, assign issues, and perform defect resolution.



Perform code reviews and refactor code to improve the overall quality of the product.



Ability to support the client organization post-launch.



Write technical architecture and detail software design document.



Create technology-centric case studies.

Job Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have professional experience developing and delivering mobile application(s), possessing the following skills and experience:



At least 3+ years of development experience, executing through the entire SDLC from concept to production.



At least 1+ years of mobile application development experience in one or more of the following platforms: iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Standards-based web technologies and using tools like Phonegap.



Experience integrating with 3rd party application frameworks and network services.



Strong operating system fundamentals from application level down to the drivers.



Experience building application framework, system libraries, and service APIs.



Knowledge of or interest in social, gaming, media, health, location, ecommerce based applications.



Experience working in an iterative or agile development environment.



Passion for the end-user experience and current design technology trends and practices.



Strong oral, communication, and leadership skills.
