Primary focus is to apply Microsoft .NET services, capabilities and features to solve business problems using in place technology. This position will be responsible for design, development, integration, and management of processes to deliver custom and standard SharePoint 2010/.NET applications to customers.

Detailed Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Implementation of SharePoint 2010/.NETsolutions that are high quality, scalable and extendable; · Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs;
· Design and implement development workflows;
· Code, test, and implement .NET solutions in a SharePoint 2010 environment;
· Follow direction from management in implementing solutions;
· Unit test all assigned deliverables;
· Work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration;
· Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement, create accurate specifications and implement;
· Architect, design, customize, and implement SharePoint 2010 solutions using best practices;
· Support implementation of SharePoint-based workflows;
· Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint 2010 platform;
· Development of custom web parts;
· Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards;
· Apply capabilities of the SharePoint 2010 product to enhance client efficiency;
· Maintain standardized site templates to include branding and user-experience enhancement (may design variations when required).;
· Perform support duties for SharePoint 2010/.NET related service desk tickets with proactive issue management and problem solving;
· Works with Project Managers and business leaders to analyze business processes;
· Work with team members to plan, develop and execute SharePoint 2010/.NET projects and report on the status of projects;
· Participate in customer meetings to elicit and document service requirements;
· Train customers on how to use SharePoint 2010 sites.
Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree and 8 to 10 years relevant work experience or relevant work experience commensurate to education.
· Experience as a technical consultant, architect, or programmer along with a minimum of 2 years experience in .NET 3.x, SharePoint 2007/2010, SQL 2005/2008;
· Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and .NET capabilities, business process analysis, web design, project management, and the software development life-cycle
· Possess knowledge and experience developing, customizing and implementing software solutions;
· Experience with ASP.NET Development;
· Strong knowledge of the .NET framework , C#, Visual Studio 2010, ASP.NET 3.0 or greater and associated technologies;
· Practical knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, XSLT;
· Experience with SharePoint Server 2010, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), and Microsoft Office Development;
· Excellent knowledge of programming and/or systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions;
· Strong MS platform knowledge and skills;
· Experience developing and maintaining REST services, Web services, and multi-threading libraries; Experience developing and maintaining applications using object oriented methodology;
· Workflow and application development knowledge;
· Full lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scalable applications;
· Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008.
· Familiarity with SharePoint 2010 installation, configuration and the Central Administration
· Managing Navigation, Governance, Managed Metadata, Term Store, Records Store and New ECM Capabilities of SharePoint 2010;
· Integrating PerformancePoint Services, Office 2010 Clients, Business Connectivity Services /BDC and Business Intelligence/Dashboards with LOB applications;
· Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel to successfully complete work assignments;
· Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
