Explore an exciting opportunity with Interactive Data in our Santa Monica office! We are looking for a talented Software Engineer who will develop and implement financial software. S/He will also document and work with quality control to test the implemented features and work with the client service group to solve client technical problems.
Interpreting and mapping design requirements into application systems requirements
Writing, testing and debugging application systems
Developing documentation and other training material for the application systems
Performing maintenance and enhancements of existing application systems and processes.
Providing other departments programming support as needed
Continuing to gain knowledge about the software development history within the division
Be available to come to work on weekends or at night due to emergency circumstances with the released product or the beta product
Proficiency in C, C++, C# and Microsoft .NET technology. Microsoft certification is required.
Knowledge of HTML, ASP and XML as web development tools
Knowledge of SQL programming
Knowledge of web applications development
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to understand and maintain financial mathematical models
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics; Master’s degree preferred
Flexible and adaptable. Enthusiastic, positive with can-do attitude
Knowledge of web service development a plus
