The Risk Systems
team is seeking a people-centric, technically-minded, and security-focused
engineering manager to lead, mentor, and grow our crack team of risk engineers
and develop our engineering culture.
is an engineer by training, but a manager at heart, and derives genuine
enjoyment from seeing their reports progress professionally. This involves providing not just direction to
the risk engineers, but setting the vision for the team, establishing best
practices, and motivating the team to power level as engineers.

also be able to think a heroic leap ahead of the bad guys, help the team
quickly adapt to the attacks that Blizzard faces, guide long-term product
direction and planning, and champion the cause of user security internally with
