Job Description:General Summary:
The ConnectWise Software Product Manager position will
assume a wide range of responsibilities from informal
design discussions with engineering to meeting with
customers and working with sales, support and consulting
to solve customer issues. The Software Product Manager
will gather requirements for software enhancements and
have exceptional analytical and communication skills.
This position is also responsible for collecting data on
and analyzing competitive products and go-to-market
activities as well as investigating new technologies and
markets to ensure that we remain the leader in our
markets. A product manager's key role is strategic.
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.

What you will be doing:
  • Work closely with the Leadership and Design Teams to
develop vision, strategy and roadmap for our
software products
  • Gather product and feature product requirements and
complete release planning
  • Work closely with the Design team to create use
cases, define requirements and prioritize software
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle, from
strategic planning through implementation and launch
including "chatter" about enhancements through
social media and other outlets.
  • Identify new vertical market opportunities.
  • Act as the internal and external evangelist for our
product offering, working with sales, key partners
and user groups.
You must possess a unique blend of business and
technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to
make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time
in the market to understand their problems, and find
innovative solutions for the broader market.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the
company and our partner base. You will work with the
business analysts to define product release
requirements. You will work with marketing
communications to define the go-to-market strategy,
helping them understand the product positioning, key
benefits, and target customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from
strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying market requirements for current and
future products by conducting market research
supported by on-going conversations to customers and
  • Driving a solution set across development teams
(primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing
Communications) through market requirements, product
contract, and positioning.
