IBM's Software Group is looking for a top-flight Product Management candidate to join a team of product management professionals and help define and research the market for the Smarter Cities family of product solutions and assets. These offerings are associated with IBM's Industry Solutions product portfolio.
This position is a tremendous opportunity to grow your skills in a high-energy and innovative environment where you will learn and apply methods for defining industry-leading Smarter Cities software offerings built to exploit new data from traditional physical assets and systems. When you become a product manager at IBM, you will interact with and assimilate information from clients, company executives, the sales team, customer support, and industry sources to develop both short and long term product line vision and strategies. You will be responsible for researching market intelligence, competitive information, customer and partner requirements. Additionally you will define and communicate business plans, strategies, requirements, road maps, etc through the entire organization as well as to customers and prospects. You will oversee the development of Use Cases to support product design, testing, and demonstrations. You will track the performance of all solutions in meeting company, client and end user goals, and develop procedures to ensure that solutions are continually enhanced in response to feedback. You will work with engineering to ensure that product development schedules and requirements are met. This opportunity will be located in our Research Triangle Park location in Durham, North Carolina.
