Job Description:General Summary:
The support department at LabTech is a critical part of

  • Client-facing technical experience
  • Effective written and verbal skills; excellent phone
  • Firm grasp of how LabTech works in respects to your
assigned Technology Team

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Taking ownership of technical issues, and working
with our Partners, QA, and Development groups to
resolve more advanced issues when necessary
  • Resolving escalated partner complaints with, and
without, the need for team lead intervention
  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution
steps for OneNote
  • Participation in providing training to other

Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • XP
  • Vista
  • Windows 7
  • Server 2003
  • Server 2008
  • Small Business Server
  • Knowledge of MySQL
  • Use of SQLYog
  • Execute basic queries
  • Basic knowledge of, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP and other
networking concepts
  • Experience with basic website setups on a Windows
  • IIS setup and configurations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Business field is
  • MCSE & CCNA would be an advantage
  • A+, Server+, Network+, Security+ desirable
Strongly preferred:
  • Our development environment is based on Microsoft
.net architecture and MySQL. Familiarity with either
program is a plus, especially as regards MySQL
administration and scripting.
  • Experience of at least 2 years in an MSP environment
using RMM software such as: Spiceworks, Zenith,
Kaseya, Labtech, Level Platforms
  • Experience of at least 2 years in an MSP environment
using ticketing software such as: Autotask, Commit,
  • Experience of at least 2 years supporting server
level applications
  • Experience of at least 2 years supporting Server
