The Solution Architect's objective is to deliver advanced integration, workflow and reporting capabilities that improve productivity and financial performance for Bostech's clients. As a Bostech Solution Architect you will work closely with Bostech's growing customer base to estimate, design, implement, test and support sophisticated performance improvement solutions. Bostech solutions integrate with existing customer environments requiring the Solution Architect to implement and manage complex integrations and understand the customer's unique business processes. The Solution Architect will be exposed to a variety of technologies and needs to have the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

DUTIES

Primary Responsibilities: Design, estimate, implement, test and support Bostech's Connect product to deliver measurable performance improvement results for customers;Design and execute on software acceptance tests to ensure the solution meets the customer's business needs;Manage communication with customers and Bostech team members to set and manage expectations, respond to questions, resolve issues and gain assistance needed to successfully deliver on time and within budget;Report project status and issues to be resolved during implementation projects and work collaboratively with implementation team members;Manage the resolution of any outstanding acceptance testing issues before and after project go-live;Provide ongoing support for Bostech customers via phone, online forum and email;Test Connect Performance Suite product releases before general release to customer;Prepare customer-specific product release documentation to accompany any general release as required;Although most work can be performed remotely, Solution Architects may need travel to a client site during implementation projects;Manage communication between the customer project team and the Bostech project during deployment;

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Qualifications: A four-year degree in CS, MIS or related field or, if the candidate possesses a non-technical four-year degree, four+ years professional experience working with software implementation and development;Experience with Java, C, or object oriented programming development and ability to develop basic Java applications;Experience working with SQL;One Year+ hands-on experience working with the concepts and components required to implement software interfaces / integrations;Experience working with EAI, ESB, or interface engine such as Cloverleaf, Ensemble or similar is a plus;Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;Excellent analytical skills;Professional skills in working with various relational database systems;Ability to work both independently and in team environments;Experience with the implementation and integration of healthcare systems desired;Ability to identify, analyze, discuss and confirm application/system requirements from customers and relevant stakeholders and produce detailed specifications;Understanding and experience with standard information technology, software development and associated processes (development lifecycle, testing processes, support, etc.);Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to produce clear concise documentation that can be easily understood by implementers and customers;Experience with application software testing and preparation of test plans and test data;Knowledge of standard industry processes and methodologies (e.g., for implementation, enhancement requests, development and product release, change control, customer support);Understand principles of Project management and possess project management skills;Primary Technologies Used: JavaSQLEclipse IDEXML & Web ServicesOpen source technologies based on open standards About hc1.comThe hc1.com Healthcare Relationship ManagementTM service (a Bostech Innovation) combines cloud-based healthcare CRM, real-time dashboards and alerts, and secure messaging to optimize the relationships between healthcare professionals and improve the quality of healthcare.
