The Solution Manager sits within the Practice organization and is responsible for the delivery of solutions to internal GE lines of business.
As a Solution Manager, you will define and manage multiple diverse cross-functional program teams that involve significant technical and business complexity and communication, with a need for collaboration and conflict resolution across the organization. You will use your advanced skills in complex collaboration and issues resolution and ability to lead and execute between multiple geographically based locations to drive the delivery of solutions.
In addition, you will be responsible for the following:
Identifying and defining new solution requirements and use cases
Gathering the voice of customers with both qualitative and quantitative data
Determining business-case and feasibility
Evangelizing new solutions within the company
Building solution roadmaps
Ensuring products are within optimal market price and margin contribution parameters
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer related field.
At least 10 years of experience in program, project management in high tech industry
Full understanding of the software development lifecycle
Advanced product and solution management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Technical competence to the degree required for effective interaction with cross-BU engineering teams
Ability to capture and report complex deliverables status

Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA.
Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
