Solution Sales Manager:
This position is responsible for driving incremental volume, via delivering sales solutions at geographically defined LLO’s and multi-unit accounts. The primary focus is to execute consultative sales presentations to LLO’s and multi-unit accounts, achieving desired growth objectives.

Manage all sales and service responsibilities for geographically assigned LLO’s and multi-unit accounts.

Responsible for negotiating profitable pricing programs within established parameters.

Responsible for becoming a sales specialist in all Michael Foods foodservice product categories.

Support attainment of current volume, planned growth and profitability goals within identified market in collaboration with MFI Market Manager and Sales Agency.

Communicate business intelligence across MFI organization including Division VP, Market Manager and Sales Agency.

Travel requirement – up to 60%.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

5-7 years experience being a solution selling provider to LLO’s and multi-unit accounts.

Strong presentation skills to include market, trend and commodity conditions as well as MFI capabilities.

Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations (“back of the house”.)

Strong leadership skills, the ability to cooperate, coordinate, direct and drive the productivity of others, and lead cross-functional teams within MFI, Sales Agencies and Key Operators.

Highly motivated individual able to work in fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Technomic Digital Resource and Sales Discovery.

Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations and take appropriate actions.
