The Solutions Architect's primary responsibility is to work closely with potential customers in the architecture of embedded solutions. This person will also support the Automotive Sales Team from qualification through proposal and acceptance. They will provide a key advisory role internally to position BSQUARE technology, as well as externally in presenting that technology to customers and the market. This person will also help Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales opportunities. The person in this position must interface well with engineering, sales, marketing, and the various product groups to understand their respective roadmaps and capabilities and properly position these solutions to customers. Multi-tasking and time organizational skills are essential in order to support the team. The position requires a strong technical understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Linux, automotive market, telecommunications, embedded HW designs and knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for web based supporting products. Travel will be required (25-50%), predominately in the US, with some potential for international travel.

Requirements BA or BS EE or equivalent 10+ years’ experience in the dealing with automotive OEMs and their suppliers Experience with WindowsCE, Linux and QNX Experience in the design of both HW and SW solutions including the relevant development tools Understanding of Microprocessors, Micro-controllers, and DSP's Must have front-line experience in working with customers Proficiency for articulating technology in a group setting Excellent communication and business relationship skills Must be a team player able to work with a variety of disciplines and organizational functions 3 to 5 years selling experience desired
