Software Engineering in support of the Search Engine Marketing team at Ask.com is all about improving engineering excellence; we are working to make it more productive and fun. The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with a passion for coding excellence. You will bring your innovation, superior ability to problem solve and creativity to contribute to our continued success.
Direct involvement with business teams and understanding of the business.
Rapid prototype development to solve business challenges.
Proactively identifying ways technology can make the business more efficient.
Ability to rapidly assimilate existing systems and business concepts.
Experience with Java, SQL, JDBC or Hibernate.
Experience with Web Services.
Experience with concurrent programming.
BA/BS in Computer Science or a Business degree with strong programming experience.
