The Solutions Engineer position is a dynamic and challenging position that is suited for well rounded, technical individuals. Candidates must have excellent logic and interpersonal skills. Youll be responsible for providing technical sales support for software and hardware solutions in the space of document management, scanning, cost recovery, IT solutions, document workflow, etc. Youll also be responsible for post sale (on site) implementations of these solutions.
A MRC Solutions Engineer helps our customers find better ways to do great work. By implementing software and hardware solutions, we strive to help customers streamline business processes, automate workflow and find better ways to manage documents. We do this to help our customers lower their operating costs and build efficiency.
Essential Functions, Duties and Accountabilities
Helping the sales team to deliver a sales quota for solutions in a specified region
Technical and conceptual demonstrations and presentations
End user and general technical sales trainings
Software solutions workflow design, installation, training and implementation
Supporting sales reps on sales calls over the phone and in the field
Post sale support and troubleshooting
Skill Requirements and Qualification
Strong IT and technical background
Strong interpersonal and sales skills
Excellent communication skills
Document management and imaging knowledge
Windows desktop/server and Mac operating systems
Strong customer service skills
Project management (implementation scheduling) a big plus
Education Requirements (1 of the below certifications or equivalent job experience)
BS Computer Science or related
