Provides data and functional analysis and project leadership across the lifecycle of Technology Solution projects.
Partners with business resources throughout the development phases of the project and regularly checks for alignment with Data Management goals and strategies.
Acts as a liaison between the business and IT personnel to support the unit’s technology needs; represent user area in all system enhancements and design activities.
Reviews user requests, conducts data gathering interviews, documents business specifications, and leads technology projects until completion.
Applies project management methodology and uses appropriate project management tools and artifacts to track and manage all activities.
Leads large technology solution projects, typically spanning the entire organization.
Responsible for producing Business Requirements, Data Analysis, Input to Operational Processes and Technology Needs.
Accountable for the system testing.
Partners with the end users throughout the User Acceptance testing phase.
Serves as a liaison between the business and the IT area, translating varied business needs into application software requirements.
Oversees projects that include various phases.
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Leads project meetings.
Provides updates to senior leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of technology.
Builds and manages critical relationships with IT, internal end users, and business customers/leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Leads and motivates the project team who are not direct reports that may span the entire organization throughout the project lifecycle.
7-10+ years of work experience in insurance product, process or administration a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
