We are currently seeking a Solutions Specialist to help further strengthen the sales and marketing efforts at COCC. This outgoing, energetic, and professional individual will be in a highly visible position and will represent COCC by preparing, facilitating, and delivering custom presentations at the senior level. The Solutions Specialist will develop, implement, and manage product demonstration methodology, continuously finding ways to enhance the delivery in an efficient and professional manner. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate benefits/features of a product to a financial institution in addition to demonstrating the integration to our Core product and other suitable products. This position requires a flexible, adaptable, and positive team player with the ability to work cohesively with various areas of the organization.
•The demonstration of all COCC Systems to prospective customers and existing clients
•Works cohesively with Regional Sales Managers in aligning resources, materials and other appropriate support for demos, Trade Shows and follow up tasks
•Maintains a professional working relationship with Product Partners (internal and external) to help build product knowledge and strengthen demos
•Maintains current demo scripts and is current on all product releases
•Coaches other Demonstrators to ensure they are delivering their specific demonstrations in a professional manner
•Attends all demonstrations/presentations as assigned on time and is willing and able to assist/direct in the setup and take down of equipment
•Represents division on corporate level projects/assignments as needed
•Assists and supports the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and strategic business plans
•Assist financial institutions in picking the solutions that are best for their business
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
•5+ years professional work experience within a Bank or Credit Union
•2+ years experience in a customer service setting; 2+ years sales/marketing experience
•2+ years of successful consulting experience
•Experience with COCC/Open Solutions Core Processing system highly desired
•Experience with secondary product mix (CRM, Document Imaging, Report Writer, Internet Banking, Anti-Money Laundering) preferred
•Lending background with in-depth knowledge in loan originations preferred
•Excellent presentation and public speaking skills a must; Experience presenting to senior level personnel preferred
•Superior written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
•Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task; Output must be of a high quality
•Self-starting and independent, but also a team player
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
•This job requires the successful ability to lift between 5-25lbs of equipment for demonstrations
•Ability to travel 50% of the time

This position is currently recruited out of Avon, CT, however this department will be relocated in
12 months to Southington, CT.
