The Sonographer II demonstrates an expanding knowledge base in the management of diagnostic testing for specific types of patient populations, applies in-depth clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills and demonstrates the ability to problem-solve through application of testing modalities.
Requirements :
Graduate of approved school of echocardiography or equal training required. Must have one year of experience in an active echocardiography lab, and at least one year of pediatric echocardiography experience. Must be Registered through American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult and/or pediatric echocardiography and/or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). BLS certification required. Must have valid Florida driver's license and be able to travel to the All Children's Hospital Outpatient Care Centers. Must be able to push or pull Cardiac Ultrasound and Electrocardiogram (EKG) machines on wheels in said areas (weight: 15-550 lbs). May experience long periods of standing
