GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The Sourcing Aero Quality Manager will lead and direct Aero Global Sourcing Quality team, and team activities focusing on supplier qualification, non-conformance management, and supplier surveillance and quality initiatives. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities
Manage team resources to provide technical guidance to a global supplier base to assure product & process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
Set Aero Sourcing Quality strategies through growth playbook period and execute to plan
Drive continuous improvement of suppliers’ quality, cycle and delivery performance
Monitor supplier non-conformance performance, and drive root-cause analyses, corrective actions & process improvements to reduce the Number of Defects & Cost of Quality
Drive improvement, consistency and adherence to Global Sourcing procedures and requirements
Work effectively with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components
Support sourcing quality initiatives / metrics
Participate in Quality Management Reviews with Global Sourcing
Drive Supplier Recovery efforts
Drive Quarterly Quality Reviews at key suppliers Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of Sourcing / Manufacturing experience
Minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years Sourcing Quality experience

Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field
Demonstrated technical aptitude and a passion for quality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated global leadership and organizational skills
Ability to work in cross-functional and global team environments
Highly motivated
Good written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 2 years of Quality Leader experience
Power Generation and/or manufacturing experience
Black Belt / Master Black Belt trained and certified (GE employees only)
Advanced Technical or Business degree
