This position develops, evaluates and implements policies and programs directed towards providing contracted services and materials. In addition, this position is responsible for leading supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management for the entire contract life cycle. Key responsibilities include: Responsibilities: Supervise one or more Sourcing Leaders and / or Sourcing Specialists, coaching and directing the sourcing team to drive down the total cost of ownership and increase business unit productivity. Maintain relationships with assigned business units to facilitate the groups understanding of their business requirements, supply chain requirements and to stress the importance of scheduling. Forecast projected sourcing requirements and manages the pipeline of assigned sourcing activity to ensure adequate resources are applied. Oversee the management of the supplier base, ensuring new sources of supply are being continually developed and that ongoing supplier performance is being monitored. Increase efficiency by continually improving the sourcing process, driving standardization of common items and eliminating waste. Develop and implement metrics and indicators to assigned responsibilities to measure and monitor level of performance. Provide leadership in the development of department personnel. Budget responsibility as assigned. Interact with assigned operating business units, legal experts, and other ISC personnel. Key decisions and/or recommendations include sourcing strategy, negotiation strategy, contract award, and supplier management. Interact externally with the supplier community and industry analysts. Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for legal and environmental regulations. Requirements: Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields preferred; MBA highly desired Minimum of seven years related experience required; has demonstrated several years successful experience in sourcing. Previous supervisory experience required. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills required.
