The Sourcing Specialist is a member of the North American Talent Acquisition team working in conjunction with the Recruiters, and Coordinators to fill positions in the U.S. and Canada.
In this role, the Sourcing Specialist will execute the company's sourcing strategy to identify and present experienced and diverse candidates to the recruiters utilizing multiple sourcing methods.
The Sourcer will work in a high volume environment utilizing sourcing methods/tools such as active and passive candidate searches, social media, cold calling, market intelligence/research, internal posting responses, internal transfers, employee referrals, and the use of the electronic resume management tools.
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Sourcing Specialist will also identify and implement best practices to increase the quality of hires while reducing cycle time and cost.
Perform direct recruiting and sourcing activities for open positions
Data-mine multiple Internet resume databases for possible candidates and assesses quality of candidates and employment sites
Develops potential recruiting sources by preparing research strategies; identifying and qualifying sources, including search engines involving Boolean and flip searches, and x-raying, chat rooms, message boards, organization lists, publications, home pages, colleges and institutes, and job fairs; building personal networks.
Use BrassRing to track and monitor candidates to include EEO/Applicant tracking as well as recruiter metrics
Conduct cold calls and name generation
Source, screen and interview candidates
Participate or project manage Talent Acquisition strategic initiatives as assigned
Bachelor’s degree and four or more years recruiting experience in a high volume technical recruiting environment.
Eight or more years recruiting experience in a high volume technical recruiting environment without a Bachelor's degree.
