The St. Regis Aspen is located on the Western Slope of the majestic Rocky Mountains, approximately 3 hours from Denver. The resort is in the heart of downtown Aspen amidst world class entertainment, dining, shopping and of course winter sport activities. Although known primarily as a ski resort, the Roaring Fork Valley offers year round events that include: art, music, intellectual pursuits and a variety of sporting activities; hiking, biking, rafting, paragliding, fishing and more. Aspen is a true year round resort!

Job Description

Assist the Executive Chef lead and oversee the day to day culinary operation of the St. Regis Aspen. Coordinate and develop menus for the food & beverage venues and banquet events. Train and lead associates, maintain food quality and operate kitchen to reach established profit margin goal.

Requirements

High school or equivalent education required. Culinary/Bachelor's degree preferred. At minimum, must have three years of experience in the role of Sous Chef in a high quality type driven restaurant. Ability to obtain and/or maintain any hotel or government required licenses, certificates or permits. The Sous Chef must maintain a well-groomed professional appearance of self and insure that all employees maintain a neat and clean uniform and be well-groomed per Starwood standards at all times.
