Spares Quoting &Marketing Administrator
SUMMARY
Plans, coordinates and prepares proposals of diverse
scope and complexity in response to customers' requests
for proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI),
request for technical information (RFT), and request for
quotation (RFQ) and/or provides post-sales marketing
support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend and contribute to working sessions and
tutorials on the dynamics of the surplus market
conditions
  • Increase win percentage
  • Provide market input into “Parker’s Aftermarket
Surplus Strategy”
  • Proven ability to understand the aircraft lifecyle and
implement it into day-to-day quoting activities
  • Follow up target quotes to obtain the sale
  • Capture market price and latest market conditions in
order to win the next quote
  • Closely follow PMA development and create a feedback
loop / database
  • Contribute to expand “No-Use” inventory sale project
with plans to include other divisions
  • Contribute to IT quote software improvements (metric
improvements, standardize no-use reports, dashboard
creation)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a bachelors degree (BA) in Business
Administration with an equivalent combination of
education and experience which has provided both
theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential
functions of the job typically acquired through six or
more years of increasingly responsible related marketing
or proposal management experience.
Two years of direct aerosapce aftermarket experience
strongly desired
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel
  • Phone Support, Frontline Support, Business
Development, National Internet Marketing, Financial
Analysis, Inside Sales
