Through development and cultivation of positive donor relationships, promote and enhance the management of the University of Oregon Athletic Department. Coordinate and manage logistics for on-site donor visits to athletic and other events. Manage administrative office functions for the Executive Senior Athletic Directors† offices, exercising independence and discretion and maintaining confidentiality. Support directors in preparing staff evaluations and coordinating post-season travel for varsity teams. Work in conjunction with Campus Development in Maintaining a major gift portfolio for the Eugene, Salem and Roseburg areas.Develop and maintain positive donor relationships. Sustain stewardship of top 100+ donors. Assist with meeting preparation, material production, and additional duties in relation to staff meetings and retreats. Manage the logistics of donor transportation, catering, ticketing and parking for major sporting events involving the University†s sporting teams. Collaborate with other University personnel in securing donations for current and potential sports programs. Assist the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director in all activities related to the ticket sales and seat selection. Oversee inventory and distribution of donor gear. Assist with facility projects fundraising events.Manage Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director†s phones, calendars and other administrative duties. Understand and maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding controversial or sensitive issues. Attend conference meetings as requested. Act as a major gift fundraiser working to build own portfolio by identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts for capital projects, endowments and special projects.Help fundraising team develop and implement a comprehensive prospecting plan for university alumni, with an emphasis on high-end annual ($2,500+) and major gift ($100K+) prospects using tools provided by the Office of Prospect Management and Analytics.Work to manage a portfolio of primarily new/discovery prospects, seeking to grow the pool of engaged alumni, parents, friends and corporate supporters.Create written proposals and case statements for solicitation of individuals and organizations. Coordinate clearance with other development officers and administrators.Conduct stewardship, including gift acknowledgements/thank you correspondence, recognition, communications and special events.Collaborate with development staff, coaches, program directors, other university administrators, and volunteers to identify, qualify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors Responsible for on-site supervision for assigned varsity sporting events. Assist and support Executive Senior Athletic Director on preparing evaluations of sports program coaching staffs. Travel with individual teams as requested. Compile required information and coordinate post-season travel for varsity teams. Act as a primary contact for event representatives and ensure accuracy and timeliness of data being provided.
