Advance Medical, located in Westwood, MA, is an international healthcare services provider that connects patients seeking diagnosis and/or treatment options to complex medical issues with world experts who address their concerns.

We are seeking an advanced medical professional (nurse, nurse practitioner, physician) to work behind the scenes to assist patients through their medical journey in a fast-paced work environment with impeccable attention to detail. Advanced medical degree preferred. Mastery of English language (written and spoken) and medical language required. Candidate should be a creative thinker with a desire to make an immediate impact in an entrepreneurial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordination of Medical Director and Medical team to ensure a timely turnaround of patients queries
  • Coordination of information to ensure accurate medical opinions that meet our clients/patients expectations
  • Provide analytical and developmental assistance to Executive Vice President and Medical Director in client reporting
  • Deliver medical presentations to non-clinical staff
  • Troubleshoot/solve minor database problems, create ad-hoc database querying as they arise
  • Serve as a medical reference resource to the non-medical team
  • Assist in imaging and lab acquisition while providing coordination between medical team members on an as needed basis

Essential Criteria:
1. Advanced medical degree, ability to interact with physicians on a peer level
2. Thorough medical knowledge of diagnosis, research, medical/surgical sub-specialties
3. Clear understanding of the US health care and academic medical systems
4. Work experience within either a hospital or research environment and significant experience interacting with physicians
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both clinical and nonclinical disciplines
6. Impeccable attention to detail
7. Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team
8. Ability to navigate data systems, data entry, data analysis
9. Mastery in English language (both written and spoken), medical diction
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Software, Internet skills, literature Review of PubMed and other online databases, critical review of the literature
11. Eligible to work in the US and will be required to complete eligibility verification upon hire
