Assist with daily operation and maintenance of the Spectrum Collection/Recovery Systems. Assist with department liaison duties with all end-users.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with and provide support to all authorized system users.
Routinely provide security control maintenance as directed by Information Security Policy by adding and deleting system users as required.
Maintain, prepare and distribute bench mark reporting for monitoring and measuring productivity and effectiveness for all areas of Special Credits.
Assist in the documentation of work requirements for new and proposed changes to systems configuration, document templates, report requirements and work-flow solutions.
Assist with test plans for proposed system modifications and changes as required and directed.
Assist with the development and maintenance of system and user documentation, controls and procedure manuals. Ensure training curriculum is developed with current operations to support the development of department staff in the use of features and functions of assigned systems.
Assist in the preparation of business proposals for the evaluation, selection, development of system enhancements, and new technologies.
Act as department back-up liaison in the absence of the Senior Systems Administrator.
Provide after hours support as directed to system users and submitting required incident reports.
Perform other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements:
Education - Associate degree in Business, Computer Systems, or a related field preferred.
Experience Required - Minimum three years progressive experience in senior clerical or professional role with line of business. At Special Credits Management’s discretion, directly supervised and related work experience may be substituted for required minimum experience.
Skills - Thorough understanding of the lines of business within the department and a working knowledge of department's practices and procedures. Basic understanding of PC applications and hardware platforms. Knowledge of supported application system(s) from user's perspective. Basic understanding of supported business system from a technical perspective. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
Tenure - Special Credits Systems Technician II, category 11, requires one year tenure in the Special Credits Systems Technician I position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Special Credits Systems Technician III, category 10, requires one year in the Special Credits Systems Technician II position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.
