The Albuquerque Public Schools District and the Albuquerque Teachers Federation are working together to create a Common State Standards Demonstation Magnet School with a focus on English Language Learners at Emerson Elementary School.
All candidates for teaching positions must have the following qualifications/skills:
All teachers must have a level 1, 2 or 3 license. No applicants with an intern or alternative licensure may apply.

Open classroom doors and lesson plans to fellow teachers, support staff and our community

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates must be willing to work according to the Extra Time Memorandum of Understanding and per the commitment letter including the following:
Working in a collaborative teaching environment.
Promoting/ Supporting the inclusion of a pre-K program
A 7.5 hour duty day for teachers and a 188 day work year for in-depth professional development and collaboration.
Willingness to work with community partners with the intent of becoming a community school with wrap-around services
