Highline Medical Center Foundation is seeking a part-time Special Events & Project Manager for fundraising event activities. The special events and projects manager is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing special event activities surrounding the Foundation's annual golf classic, signature fundraising gala and new corporate breakfast. You will also be the primary lead for event corporate sponsor recruitment and stewardship.
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in fund development with proven experience in all aspects of event management, including work with committees, preparation of sponsorship materials, ability to promote events in the community and the ability to obtain corporate sponsorship fundraising. Must be able to produce (or oversee) the production of all materials related to special events, including guest list, invitations, catalogues and programs. Qualified applicant will have demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
This is a 30 hours per week benefited position. During peak fundraising times, you will be expected to work upwards of 40 hours per week.
