This person is the first point of contact for the association; Responsible for office mail distribution, office greeter, deliveries, managing office supplies, and overall appearance of the building. This staff person will assist with all social media sites including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter. Person will work closely with the Deputy ED and Communications Department to ensure that all information posted via these sites is timely and of importance to the FPTA†s membership. This person will assist with revision of electronic member communications as deemed appropriate by the Communications Department and Deputy ED or CEO. As a secondary set of roles this person will work closely with the Director of CE, Comptroller, and the Director of Membership on any special projects that require assistance. These projects will be assigned on an as needed basis. Ability to speak professionally;Ability to take instruction and work independently to complete projects with limited supervision;Must be able to work with others in a team setting;Excellent customer service skills;Excellent written and verbal communications skills;Commitment to the mission of the Florida Physical Therapy Association;Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications must be demonstrated;Web site experience;It is essential for this person to be attention to detail focused and ensure the quality and integrity of all communication pieces; Must be able to manage time accordingly in order to get projects done in a timely manner;Serve as conference registrar under director of the Deputy ED;Understand the use of membership communications software (constant contact) to launch member communications as requested;Other responsibilities include but are no limited to: Coordination of mailings;Opening and organization of daily mail, including CE login and email confirmation;Meeting registration activities support;FPTA District support for meetings, communications, membership updates;Work with Deputy ED on marketing and placement of vendor advertising, weekly update Member relations † technical support (login, APTA updates, etc.)Responsible for ordering of all office supplies, management of copier/postage machine and other equipment in office. Copying/Filing and other clerical/administrative responsibilities as assigned.It is very important that this person stays proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Power Point, etc. This person will provide staff support for these applications.
