Job Summary :
Note to All Applicants: This position is a temporary capital budget funded position as it offers benefits.
Makes recommendations to Administration and Department Leader on any new construction or work to be completed by outside contractors; solicits bids from contractors for projects under $25,000, analyzes quotes, makes recommendations for acceptance and also serves as hospitals project coordinator with contractor and local agencies. Ensures that all services comply with Joint Commission standards and all governmental regulations. Conducts environmental rounds of construction projects regularly and reports findings appropriate venues.
Minimum Qualifications :
· Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, engineering, preferred, or equivalent construction experience.
· Minimum of five years construction or project management experience, comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local, Joint Commission, MOSHA, OSHA, and NFPA regulations related to construction activity.
· Must be experienced in bid preparation, blueprint/ architectural schematic interpretation
· Demonstrated successful experience with healthcare renovations/new construction
