Special Projects Coordinator
Coordinate and oversee supply distribution projects associated with Signet's acquisition of the Ultra Diamonds and Scamp and Scoundrel stores. This includes but is not limited to the receipt, inventory management, and fulfillment of supplies and merchandise. Orchestrate the annual St. Jude plush QC program. Must be able to lead a staff of 4-10 team members during the QC process to ensure pre-established guidelines and production quotas are achieved. Receipt and verification of all special projects SKU'd items into the Lawson and IMS inventory systems. Ensure all completed projects are billed and/or adjusted out to alleviate inventory levels. Continuous Inventory management of both systems through rigorous cycle counting and involvement in both warehouse and DC bi-annual inventories. Monitoring personal productivity and provide daily status reports to the Warehouse Manager in addition to creating and maintaining reporting vehicle ( s) utilized by management. Monitoring of the Training project calendar as created by the Operations Training department within the home office. Coordinate and ensure proper receipt, coalition and shipment of all training materials to the field through both DM and store wide distributions. Coordination of special/additional pick-ups with UPS or other freight carriers, as needed.
High School Diploma / GED required; Minimum 2 years experience in the warehousing, distribution and logistics industry; Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented; Strong leadership and communication skills ( both oral and written); Basic Microsoft Office computer skills required; Knowledge of Lawson and Carrier manifest systems ( Small package and LTL services) preferred; Tow Motor Certification a plus.
