This position is for a techno/functional resource.
We need a person with a combination of technical and functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 and above system.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following PeopleSoft areas:
HR, Benefits Admin, Payroll, Time and Labor and Compensation.
Provide support to HR business community for PeopleSoft
Provide application configuration services and technical support and development on HCM projects
Collaborate with business teams to develop functional designs
Perform and participate in Fit/Gap analysis against PeopleSoft delivered capability
Develop functional and technical design documents
Prepare development time estimates for assigned tasks and take responsibility for meeting those estimates
Interact with the HRIS team to manage change control for the application
Collect requirements for multiple functional areas
Support all testing activities including the creation of test scripts for System, UAT and Integration testing
Able to work with minimal supervision on broad and sometimes complex assignments
Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work in progress
Experience working in a SOX change-control environment
BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
4+ years designing, coding, testing and implementing application software in a PeopleSoft HCM environment.
5 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM with at least 3 years directly involved in implementations
Ability to deliver results in cross functional multiple location team environment
Experience with requirements definition, mapping and gap-analysis\
Understanding of application architecture and application development methodologies
Ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships
Ability to deliver multiple concurrent work assignments
SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in MS Office tools
Demonstrated working knowledge and expertise in Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Crystal Reports, SQL, Component Interface, Data Mover, Oracle Database
Demonstrated experience with software development tools, scripting tools, and multiple programming languages that effectively support the business applications/environments for the business areas they support.
Demonstrated experience in providing information for project charters, technical approaches / proof of concept documents, functional / technical designs.
Possess excellent communication skills and aptitude to work with business process owners and technical users.
High impact individual with the ability to both challenge and
advise lead personnel
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc)
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional Traveler (5-20%): The incumbent will be required to travel on occasion.
Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
The incumbent works in an office environment.
