Duties & Responsibilities:
Plans and executes events, including logistics, promotions, and pre/post event surveys and analysis.
Leads site communications COE teams and leverages team resources to execute site events at the supervisor's direction.
Assists manager with community relations and volunteer programs.
Executes activities under manager's direction for site communication, site meetings, events, and ad hoc meetings.
Collaborates with manager, internal site and corporate resources to ensure continuity and consistency with overall corporate communications strategy.
Maintains and updates the Company-owned Website(s) content based on expectations set by management.
Listens, assesses, and analyzes internal customer needs and develops recommendations.
Collaborates with internal resources to plan, create, and edit content to ensure cohesive communication.
Publishes content in compliance with copywrite, privacy regulations, and internal company procedures, policies, and guidelines. Provides editorial oversight to content submitted.
Reviews content with content owners and evaluates accuracy of published information by scheduling periodic content reviews.
Scans marketplace for trends and makes recommendations for realistic enhancements to customer intranet pages.
Monitors, maintains, and reports web site performance to ensure availability to the desired audience with appropriate links and security.
Establishes, maintains, and reports website(s) performance and usage measures.
- Scans, diagnoses, and fixes all content problems, including broken links, typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies as part of daily and weekly maintenance of all company owned website(s).
Develops, recommends, and implements plans for integration and delivering content to intranet, portals, website, document repositories, and content management systems.
Ensures all internal electronic media are maintained and functioning with current, relevant, and accurate technology best practices.
Collaborates with internal and external technical resources to identify best practices.
Gathers requirements and works with IT staff to improve processes and tools.
Ensures up to date knowledge on all related Web systems and capabilities by maintaining credentials and/or current training on Enterprise Content Management Systems.
Trains employees on an as-needed-basis on relevant website(s), systems, and applications.
Schedules regular update, "how to" content development meetings, and trend reviews with functional area content owners.
Collaborates with Learning & Development staff to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training.
Creates job aids and publishes quick guides to increase user navigation and usage capability.
Participates on ad hoc project teams and executes ad hoc assignments and/or projects.
Bachelorsâ€™ degree in Communications, Computer Science or closely related discipline.
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with all departments within the organization.
Must be able to communicate effectively, in oral and written form, with peers, superiors, and both internal and external customers.
Knowledge of structure and content of the English language (meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar).
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to recognize a problem, ability to apply quick fixes and communicate with management on status of the problem, including proper training for prevention of reoccurring problems.
Excellent Teamwork & Collaboration and Influence skills.
Five plus (5+) yearsâ€™ experience in the Web-design/Web-Development preferred.
Knowledge in C++, Java, HTML5, XML, jQuery, Windows 9X, and CSS3.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and experience with website design, database development, relational database design, and database protocols. Must be able to address HTML and scripting compatibility issues between different browsers and computing platforms.
Experience in the creation of web-based applications using cutting edge tools and technologies. Knowledge and experience with installing, configuring, maintaining, tuning, analyzing, and optimizing websites.
Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects.
Ability to clearly document features, technical specifications, and infrastructure requirements for self-produced technical work and job processes.
Must be able to continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge.
Must have excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Candidate must be self-sufficient and have excellent English oral and written communications skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
