Work extensively with stakeholders a nd SMEs to perform needs a nalysis, develop learning objectives a nd design deliverables that meet learner a nd stakeholder needs
Write instructional materials for multiple formats including instructor-led a nd self-paced training
Develop testing tools to measure a nd a ssess effectiveness of the curriculum a nd learner performance, integrating results into new a nd existing course curriculum
Reviews, evaluates, a nd modifies existing a nd proposed programs
A ssists in the a ssessment of the effectiveness of programs developed a nd/or a dministered
Use off-the-shelf software to develop instructional media a nd content
A ssist in coordinating a nd organizing training sessions, a nd deliver classroom training programs a s needed
Support Training Specialists in the delivery of materials a s needed

The Ideal Candidate will Posses the Following A dditional Education, Experience, a nd A bilities:
Bachelors degree from a n a ccredited college, university or 2+ years in the a rea of education or health a nd human services.
Graduate degree in instructional design, a dult learning theory a nd practice, or instructional technology preferred.
Skill in instructional design. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, a nd verbal communication skills. Exceptional technical a nd business writing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, a nd Excel required. Strong a nalysis a nd information gathering skills.
Facilitation or presentation experiences a plus. Knowledge a nd work experience with State programs (i.e. CHIP, TANF, SNAP, Medicaid or LTC) is preferred.
A t least 2 years experience in curriculum development.
Experience in multi-media development a pplications, such a s Captivate, a plus.
A bility to organize large a mounts of information quickly, a nd then turn that information into professional, learner-centered instruction.
A bility to perform comfortably in a deadline-oriented work environment a nd to execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
