has an immediate opening for a Customer Care Representative in our Specialty Sales Department. The Customer Care Representative will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned CPG accounts comply with

®SOPs (managing internal account relationships). The individual will be the primary internal liaison for all third party, retail, foodservice, office coffee service accounts. Core competencies for this role include c

ustomer service, product knowledge, quality focus, problem solving, market knowledge, documentation skills, listening, phone skills, resolving conflict, analyzing information and multi-tasking. The position reports to the Senior Director, Specialty Sales.

Position Responsibilities:
Maintains and attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

Opens, set-up and update new and existing customer accounts by recording account information.

Maintains customer records by updating account information.

Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

Liaison with Accounts Receivable to ensure that funds are collected in a timely manner based upon purchase order, products shipped, etc.

Liaison with Customer Service at RAD to ensure that wholesale accounts are maintained and information is current in system.

Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.

Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

Maintains price lists

Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Product Development, Merchandising and/or equivalent combination of least 5 years of related experience. Individual should have minimum of 3 years experience in specialty coffee, food/beverage, merchandising or quick service restaurant industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently through cross-functional team; ability to apply consultative skills in a business environment

Knowledge of business planning and financial performance measures

Knowledge of food, drug, mass and club and the overall CPG industry

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as use of Internet for research and data mining.

Utilizes savvy negotiation skills when dealing with customers and BPs; Command an understanding of functional business calculations; must be able to read sales reports, product mix reports and monthly profit/loss statements; supports conclusions with solid financial reasoning.

Command an understanding of business communication, both verbal & written; clearly conveys ideas during presentations and meetings; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and BPs or employees of organization.
