: The speech language pathologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations; direct therapy; collaboration with other special education staff; consultation to regular education teachers; writing and carrying out IEP goals/objectives; and participating as a member of the Child Study Team.
Requirements for Position
: Masters in Communication Disorders and Certificate of Clinical Competence. Also, qualified applicants will have 1) previous experience with speech/language assessments and evaluations; 2) experience with development and implementation of IEP's and child study process; 3) ability to implement inclusive educational practices for children with a variety of needs 4) familiarity with augmentative communication systems 5) experience in providing consultation and training for multi-disciplinary teams and paraprofessionals; 6) an interest in related special education program development.
