Job Objective/Purpose: Provide direct and indirect family focused therapy services for patients to increase functional abilities, independence and community integration. Contribute to department, program and service teams to assure achievement of desired outcomes.

Qualifications State licensure (annual). ASHA certification (annual)
Preferred Knowledge, skills, abilities: Knowledge of child growth and development, rehabilitation theory and practice with a wide variety of pediatric diagnoses and related considerations including anatomy and neurology, emotional behavior factors, family needs and issues, community transition and equipment. Skills include effective verbal and written communication, ability to function as an effective team member, and competency in pediatric evaluation, treatment and related family/community education and planning for transition to community services. Pediatric experience strongly preferred in Burnsville, Minnetonka and St. Paul and desirable at Lifetime Clinic. Adults with childhood onset disabilities experience strongly preferred at Lifetime Clinic and desirable in Burnsville, Minnetonka and St. Paul. Excellent customer service skills.
