Speech Pathologist jobs
Reports to department leadership and is responsible for a ccurately evaluating, diagnosing, preparing, implementing, monitoring and supervising an individually tailored therapy program to maximize performance and obtain treatment goals. Tests, evaluates, diagnoses and prescribes treatment for patients experiencing speech, language, cognition, swallowing and/or communication disorders. Provides a full range of diagnostic, counseling and rehabilitative services .
Experience, Education and Training Minimum: K nowledge of speech-language pathology principles and theories. Knowledge and experience in the administration of a variety of assessment tools, treatment plans and equipment associated with communication, language and oral-motor disorder. Current Certification of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language, Hearing Associations (ASHA), and state licensure as a speech-language pathologist. Masters degree in speech-pathology/communication disorders. Ability to meet on call requirements of department .
