Evaluate, plan and carry out a speech language and swallowing therapy program as prescribed by the physician primarily for the Pediatric population and also some adult speech therapy treatments; will be responsible for the pediatric speech swallowing and feeding program; Assist with program development; Develop and participate in Performance Improvement program; Seek to maintain professionalism and increase knowledge through continuing education and on-going self assessment. Job can be physically demanding at times requiring sitting/standing/walking for long periods of time and lifting pateints and equipment. Employee needs to be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, capable of making sound decisions, be detail oriented, alert and self-motivated. OSHA Category II- Tasks involve possible occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials. Must wear protective equipment , as approriate.
Licensed to practice in the state of Florida. CPR ( BLS ) certified. Graduated from an accredited Speech Pathology program.

Able to reach overhead frequently, to raise shoulder>45 degrees while holding a 10 lb.weightX 10 secs. Able to shrug the shoulders for 10 seconds with a 10 lb. weight in both hands.Able to hold a 10 lb. while rotating the hand from left to right and right to left.Able to fully flex and extend the elbow while holding a 10 lb.weight. Able to reach forward 16-17 inches from the body. Able to bend the torso forward more than 20 degrees and twist sideways.Able to squat for 1min. Able to lift 50 lbs from knee height to waist level. Able to lift 20 lbs once/min while seated or kneeling.Able to carry a 10 lbs weight over a distance of 25 ft.Able to push/pull 40 lbs. from a standstill. Able to push/pull 15 lbs.a 25 ft distance.
