Position Summary and Responsibilities :|
Teaches gender specific curriculum that focuses on the developmental needs of girls, communication, life and vocational skills, diversity and spirituality. Works in a team with counselors and teacher/advisors. Participates in a weekly case review and staff meeting.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education, psychology or a related field and has a current Florida teaching certificate or certificate eligible. Knowledge and understanding of current issues facing adolescent girls.
Working with at risk youth in an alternative education setting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities. Detail oriented. Enjoys teamwork and contributing to the success of the treatment care team. Applicant must be energetic, creative and motivated to interact with adolescents in a group setting.
