The incumbent duties include, but are not limited to: provide day to day sponsored program administrative and analytical support and financial monitoring of grants and contracts inclusive of reviewing and forwarding appropriate requests for procurement, payment, labor distribution, etc to the appropriate operational offices for approval and processing, specifically incumbent will provide dedicated support to new federally funded programs as assigned. Incumbent will also utilize ORACLE software and various outside databases to prepare financial reports, develop cost recovery models, prepare and monitor budgets and track execution. Incumbent will be part of the administrative team responsible for ensuring compliance with all sponsor, RF, SUNY, and CNSE policies related to program administration.

Also, the incumbent will be assigned to provide coordination and assistance for incoming programs to ensure the successful transition and integration of the program administrative and financial needs into the existing CNSE sponsored programs administrative organization. Incumbent will be responsible for developing reports and tools to assist management in monitoring the program transition.

Further, the incumbent will contribute to special projects related to CNSE autonomy initiatives, assisting with the development of CNSE sponsored programs administrative policies and procedures, and the outreach coordination, content development and training of constituent groups regarding these policies and procedures. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization OR equivalent relevant professional experience AND a minimum of 2 years professionally responsible experience. Candidates must have a working knowledge of the MS Office suite and excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form. This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background investigation; this position may be subject to annual background investigations.
